We had a wonderful stay at a charming guesthouse in Florence. The host, Nino, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. Our room was spotless and we were greeted with fresh fruit upon arrival. Nino was proactive in his communication and provided us with helpful advice for exploring the city. The hotel is conveniently located within 20-25 minutes walk from the main city center. There are some great local restaurants within walking distance, making it easier to explore the city and try out some new cuisines. the rooms are comfortable and clean with two shared bathrooms available. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering guests recommendations on where to go around the city and how to get there.
While the bathrooms are generally clean, the shower hair trap can quickly fill up, and cleaning out other people's hair can be unpleasant.

We stayed at a hotel during Easter and it had a pretty good location, not too far from the city center and close to public transportation. the room was clean and we had free access to a fridge which is very useful. We were even given Easter eggs which was a plus for the children.
The beds were not the most comfortable with the double bed being made of two separate single beds. the noise from the streets made sleeping difficult at night.

We had an amazing stay at Guesthouse Sayuri. the caretaker, Nino, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. From the late, night instructions and personalized maps upon our arrival to the delicious surprise treats in our room every day, Nino's hospitality was top, notch. the facilities were clean and well, maintained, and Nino's prompt response to a minor issue further highlighted his dedication. We appreciated his excellent English skills and valuable advice for navigating the city. As we departed, Nino's gesture of giving us a bottle of water for our journey was the perfect ending to a perfect stay. Cons: Nothing to dislike. 😊.

Great Location and Helpful Owner
I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Florence and I had a wonderful time. The location of the guesthouse was perfect, it was close to all the key attractions and just a short walk from the train station. The friendly owner gave me great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The room was nice and had all the necessary amenities. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and fruits that were provided. The guesthouse had a cozy atmosphere which made for a comfortable stay.
The only downside to my stay was that the location was a bit noisy due to traffic. However, this is to be expected in a busy city like Florence.
